Hi, Here are some suggestions for troubleshooting what sounds like more of a Thunderbird / Lightning problem than a CalendarServer problem:
Look for any sort of activity or error log from Thunderbird; check for any interesting messages logged either at account setup time or when reproducing this problem. Looking at the server's access log, compare the pattern of requests issued by different clients when reproducing the problem.
