Yes, I saw the childbrowser changes. I do call
captureCommand.viewController.supportedInterfaces to delegate the orientation
decision to the CDVViewController. Since CDVViewContrller supportedInterfaces
does call shouldRotateToOrientation the JavaScript preferences are also
accounted for. However, I do force portrait in case the app doesn't normally
support that orientation.
