[Callers] Dances in the San Jose area

I have a friend in San Jose that I'd like to get started 
contradancing.  Unfortunately, I'm in Durham, NC.  So, I'm looking 
for recommendations on dances that are welcoming to new dancers in 
the area, and possibly some folks that I can have take her under 
their wing for the first dance or so if I can get her out to 
one.  I'd love for her to have some folks that are expecting her to
