I think of "corner" as being like "neigbor". In contra corners we have a "1st corner" and a "2nd corner" but they're really just neighbors. I've heard callers (Ted Crane, maybe?) use "corner" in contras for the person I'd call a "neighbor". As Max says, a "trail buddy" is another term for a "shadow". Jeff
