A requirement of correct traditional allemande, in addition to (i) a straight wrist, (ii) vertically aligned arm, (ii) elbow and shoulder functioning as springs and (iv) and thumbs comfortably wrapped around each other, is giving EQUAL weight, no matter what respect or lack of respect for the person on the other side of the allemande.
