Given some local political correctness objections to Larks and Ravens (I’m not good on the details, but apparently it’s something regarding relative size of the birds and their symbology – larks associated with marriage and fertility, ravens with loss and ill omen), some of us here in the Pacific Northwest now playing with the terms Lakes and Rivers. At least it’s still a Left and Right terminology with similar cadence. The search continues.
