Yes Sangoma states that it does not work with 2.6.20 or above if I am not mistaken.
Runs fine for me on SuSE 10.1 (2.6.16x) x86_64 with zaptel, libpri and sangoma drivers FWIW.... 10.2 uses kernel 2.6.18. On 6/23/07, Lacy Moore - Aspendora <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Maybe this will help someone... For the past several weeks/months I've been on again / off again trying to install Callweaver. First it was with a Sangoma T1 card, then I switch to a Digium T1 card. I still couldn't get everything working. This was trying 64 bit versions of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, Fedora 7, CentOS 4.5, and CentOS 5.0. I finally got things working tonight using CentOS 5.0 i386. Granted, this time it was RC4 and not SVN. I also found that I just could not get Zaptel and the Sangoma software working on a 64 bit system. This included trying it with Asterisk, Callweaver, and just by itself. I have a system replacing an Asterisk system and I'm having to use i386 instead of the x64 distribution. I also never could get CentOS 5.0 64 bit to update correctly. It always complained of conflicts between x64 and i386. Basically, just wanted to share this in case there is anyone else out there banging their heads up against a wall trying to get Callweaver (with Zaptel) loaded on a 64 bit system. FWIW, I managed to get Callweaver installed without Zaptel on a 64 bit system. Just seems to be something about Zaptel. I'm sure with more knowledge and more work, I could have gotten it. With limited resources available (i.e. time), it just didn't seem possible. -- Lacy Moore Somewhere I wish I wasn't _______________________________________________ Callweaver-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.callweaver.org/mailman/listinfo/callweaver-users
