I recently downloaded callweaver for play/use at home. I have the basic
incoming and outgoing calling working. However, I've run into one issue
with voicemail. I'm able to call into the system from an external phone
(cell phone), * out to the main voice mail, and enter extension and
password to retrieve my messages. However, if I call in from a local
SIP phone (soft or hard) I cannot retrieve my messages because my
password is never accepted. It seems that touch tone input from local
SIP phones is not being recognized. Can anyone suggest a possible
resolution or tips for tracking down the problem?

I'm running 1.2-RC2 SVN on a Xen domU, kernel 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen, x86_64.

extension.conf

;
; Give voicemail at extension 8500
;
exten => 8500,1,VoiceMailMain
exten => 8500,n,Goto(s,6)

Console output:

   -- Executing VoiceMailMain("SIP/6000-a695", "") in new stack
   -- Playing 'vm-login' (language 'en')
   -- Playing 'vm-password' (language 'en')
   -- Incorrect password '' for user '6000' (context = <any>)
   -- Playing 'vm-incorrect-mailbox' (language 'en')
