Hi, We're investigating the use of ChanSpy to implement a Whisper Page feature. Anyone have an idea of the amount of work it would take to upgrade the current CallWeaver ChanSpy code to include the -w/-W whisper features added in Asterisk 1.4?
We've sort of tried to implement approximate functionality by setting a sip header for autoanswer (standard extension paging using SipAddHeader) and then calling the second line of a multiline phone, but if the phone is already on another call on the first line, it will not autoanswer the second call (this is sort of how it should be as Whisper Page is supposed to bridge onto the call in one direction only). It's a nice to have and would be great if it wasn't a difficult addition.
