Greetings Callweavers, I came to Callweaver over a year ago now when I read that it was going to be a more platform agnostic version of Asterisk 1.2 that focused on improving the existing code. I set up a mac to run as a Callweaver platform and went through many gyrations to build all components necessary to successfully build the development versions.
Now, Callweaver is released, and neither the tarballs nore the SVN (up to 4770) build on my OSX system? I am kind of disappointed by the lack of any interest in this and the apparent lack of any testing before a release was made? If someone had notified me that the release was close I would have gladly built/ tested the RC. If this is some anomaly of my system, I apologize profusely, but that seems unlikely as the system in question has been building and running CW for a while. Over all, the process of building CW on mac OSX is not smooth or easy. I have been thrilled to see and use the many improvements (especially music on hold without hardware or the nonsense ztdummy), and hope that we can get this together in a way that makes CW an attractive platform for OSX users.
