CW cannot support JBIG right now, for patent reasons. I'm not sure when the relevant patents expire. JBIG support by FAX machines is patchy, so I'm not sure how big a benefit it might be for most people. There is no colour FAX support right now, and there are no legal blocks to adding that. However, issues over some colour space conflicts have made me hold back from adding it.
