The Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States made the Communist country very closed with the Middle East. The Middle East conflict during the 1970s between the Arab world and Israel worried Henry Kissinger significantly as the Soviet Union was providing the Arab world with increasing firepower that would finally defeat Israel. Should Henry Kissinger act as a Jewish or American? Option 1: Bring a victory to the United States and defeat to Israel Option 2: Bring a defeat to the United States and victory to Israel. He acted on Option 2 to save Israel, but brought shamed to the United States and destructions to Cambodia. The defeated of United States in Vietnam was plot by Kissinger to pull the American troop out the war. There was a secret deal that has never been revealed to the public and will never do so to avoid backlash on the Jewish people in America and Kissinger himself. The secret deal made between Kissinger and the Soviet Union was the United States was to pull its troops out of South Vietnam and the Soviet Union was to stop arming the Arab world. If the US did not pull its troops out from South Vietnam 1975, the Khmer Rogue would never come to power in Cambodia in 1975.
