I am not trying to discredit anyone. My opinion is very clear that Cambodian overseas are trying to make Cambodians in the country to get what they already have in USA and other countries. It would not happen anytime soon. Cambodians need alot of things to get there through progress over time. The people of Cambodia are the ones who have to choose for themselves. Oversea Cambodians don't even have the courage to live in Cambodia. They use the fund to push agenda through little group like Sam Rainsy to bark to millions of people in Cambodia to strike as they want. That's wrong. Cambodians should not do that. My friend, I don't see many oversea Cambodians put their hands into building their country except a few like Sam Rainsy, Mu as examples. The majority has loud mouth with dollars in the pocket. These are the fuel behind Sam Rainsy's camp. Oversea Cambodians bark so loud about Vietnamesenization etc...... because they hate the CPP and Hun Sen government. Who bring out that movement? Ofcourse, it is Sam Rainsy with his oversea supporters. I am not a fan of CPP or Hun Sen government. However, I can't just ignore the fact that today Cambodia is the product of the leadership of CPP and Hun Sen government whether you like it or not. The progress has come a long way. Cambodians still have a long road to go. Israel unite their country to defend themselves from outside evils. They have been doing it in the name of their national interest and independence. On the hand, Cambodians have no such things. He has been a part of Hun Sen's government for how long now. Yet, he yells how bad it is. Ofcourse, Sam Rainsy would say bad things when it doesn't benefit him. And he would be very quiet when he is getting something. I criticize him from day one that I learned about his party. It was very wrong that he went to country side preaching that Hun Sen and his CPP were a part of Vietnamese. He even went so far to make poeple believe that Hun Sen was a Vietanmese because he knew that Cambodians historically hate Vietnamese. I don't know about you. Vietnamese are far superior than Cambodians. In the early 80s, Vietnam was alot poorer than Cambodia. Even their government was not popular in the world, they still made alot of effort to win support from countries around the globe. At the same time, Cambodians were fighting each other for power even when the country was supported by many countries after the atrocities of Khmer Rouge. The economic growth for the Vietnamese in the country has surpassed the growth for the Cambodian people. You can find Vietnamese products all over the store shells in the USA. Where are the Cambodians? They can't even frind their country name on their clothes that they produce daily. Do you know why? Now, let me say this so you can understand. Prolong civil among Cambodians in the country and the war in Vietnam made Cambodia ignore the border for a very long time. To the north, Cambodian factions bet on the support of Thailand. To the south, the war in Vietnam intensed along the border. So those border line didn't mean anything because those countries were so busy in the war itself. The border lines had been ignored. Now, there is peace. Those governments are talking about border demakation. Put your shoes in the shoes of Hun Sen's government for the moment. Dam if you and dam if you don't. Where is the concrete evidence for the border demarkation? There is no answer to it. That's why there have been negotiation. What would happen if Hun Sen's government would encroach Vietnamese land for new border maker? What would happen if Hun Sen's government allow Vietnamese to encroach into Cambodian land? How can we be certain about where the marks should be? Can anyone answer to those questions? Give us the real evidence to prove it. Let us look at the Peah vihear as an example. Cambodians use the document the past victory in the interenational arena to prove their case. How about the border with Vietnam. Do they have anything like that too? Oversea Cambodians only see their agenda. They hate CPP and Hun Sen. So everything must be wrong in Cambodia because those people are in control. That's what it sounds like. \ As I had said before, Cambodia has come a long way. This modern Cambodia is far better than Cambodia had ever been in the past. They are catching up. So allow them.
