During the SRN, about 90% of Khmer Reach Kar originating from K.Krom, they held most important post in the country that the case, how about the Vietnam War .American loved to recruit ethnic minority group into their fighting such as Hmong in Lao, and Khmer Kampuchea Krom in Vietnam. We know Vietnam was too vulnerable during the war. Khmer Kampuchea Krom were in a large numbers of fighters and capable to do anything they wanted and they were 100% supported by American money and training such as Mike Force troupes. But the leaders were not interested of liberating themselves from Vietnam they were happy to live in Vietnam because of their families lived and worked in Vietnamese administration they were duped by Vietnamese policy. For instance Lok Ta Song Ngoc Than he was the supreme leader of K.Krom he aided American to fight a Vietnam war, but he had no plan to liberate his land of K.Krom from Vietnam, why ? His brother was a congressman in THiew/Ky government, his family made a good living in Vietnam and other leaders may have the same thing .Hun Sen was right if anybody wanted to fight taking back land of Kampuchea Krom, please make coffins first.Full of emotional nationalistic could lead to fanatic and dangerous, but with intelligent reason we can survive and achieve something .Chetrasena had passed three regimes in Cambodia from SRN, Khmer Republic and Democratic regime and knowing them all.
