Here is the nonsense again. Almost all Cambodians speak Khmer at home. Some Cambodians DO NOT speak Khmer at home. Don't try to tell us that those who do not speak Khmer at home are not Cambodians. If you do, you are a racist yourself. We understand that Cambodians have national pride. You cannot say that those who do not speak Cambodians at home do not have Cambodian national pride in them. My friend, There are people who do not speak Cambodians hat home. And Cambodia is their home. They don't have any other place that they knew as their home. So please think before you speak. Now, you are talking about Kampuchea Krom people. They are not Cambodians. They are Vietnamese nationals. And they don't want to be Cambodians. We know that they are welcome to live in Cambodia legally. Yet, they choose to live in Vietnam. They all carry Vietnamese ids. > They are claiming that Khmer culture is their unique soul, but they > don’t understand what means Khmer culture, in which are composed Khmer > Language tone, Khmer custom, Khmer style of clothe, Khmer style of > Art, and Khmer way of life. > Why should they know Camobdian culture? You may think that they are a part of the Cambodian society. They are Vietnamese. They would think like you when it benefits them. Otherwise, they always think that they are vietnamse. > For that reason above, Khmer Krom Communities have already been more > than halfway integrated into Vietnamese society. They are living within Vietnamse society. They are a part of that society. You think that they are not. But they are. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Cambodia Discussion (CAMDISC) - www.cambodia.org" group. This is an unmoderated forum.
