Neak Kampuchea, Hinduism doesn't teach you to eat meat or to kill animals or to kill other people to expand your territory. Do you realize that even today Hindus still worship cows, monkeys, and elephants?? Not only do they not kill and eat cows, they worship them!! D'ohh!! Hindus even have the monkey god (god who's a monkey) and the elephant god (god who's an elephant), d'ohh!! Vegetarianism is a value in Hinduism. Do you know that India lost almost half of its territory that became Pakistan and Bangladesh?? Why is this so if Hinduism teaches you to expand your territory?? Are you aware that Hindus do nothing but sing and dance, as evidenced by all, well well almost all, the Indian movies?? It seems that you simply do the guesswork in your blame on Buddhism for the ills of Cambodia. Or maybe you're just trying to look smart. It of course simply makes you ridiculous.
All the countries surrounding Cambodia, which are Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, are Buddhist countries. But none of them have suffered the ills that Cambodia has. Can you explain why?? Thailand's Buddhism is even exactly the same as Cambodia's: Theravada Buddhism. However Thailand has never had the mis-fortunes that Cambodia has. Can you explain why?? Thailand and Vietnam even gained territories bit by bit at the expense of Cambodia. Can you explain why?? As recently as a couple years ago Theravada Buddhist Sri Lanka defeated the Hindu Tamil Tigers. Can you explain why?? A couple decades earlier Mahayana Buddhist Vietnam won a war against the Christian "world superpower" USA. Can you explain why?? Still several centuries earlier Mahayana Buddhist Vietnam completely swallowed Muslim Champa. Can you explain why?? It appears that you just fabricate things in your un-warranted attack on Buddhism. Or perhaps you're attempting to self-aggrandize. You remind me of a Cambodian saying that goes like this: chess bon-tech bon-tuoch thveu reukk ehng kro-an beur. D'ohh!! Stop blaming Buddhism for the ills of Cambodia. Take responsibility for what you did and do. This is exactly similar to what I've been saying to the racist Vietnam-haters: stop blaming Vietnam or Thailand or any other country for what you did and do.
