Kampuchea Krom became a part of Vietnam because the French gave it to Vietnam, not because Buddhism was telling the Khmer people not to kill annimals for food, not because Khmer Krom monks preached to the locals not to harm them (the Vietnamese, presumably).
Isn't it ridiculous to claim that you lost your land because your religion tells you to not kill animals for food?? Isn't it ridiculous to declare that you lost your land because your monks tell you to not harm the occupiers?? Not killing animals for food has nothing to do with your losing your land. It can't be true that your monks tell you to let foreigners occupy your land without resistance. Just answer my questions in that post of mine. If you can't then just say so and stop trying to fabricate outrageous imaginations to use to blame Buddhism for the mis-fortunes of Kampuchea Krom.
