Let me turn the conversation slighting to another angle. Whe we say Khmer Krom are Vietnamese, and Kampuchea Krom is Vietnamese territory, we get attacked because many Cambodians want us to believe that Khmer kroms are Cambodians and Kampuchea Krom belongs to Cambodia. And Vietnamese stole it from them.
Now, let us put the same context to Surin and Khmer Sorin because many Cambodians still believe it that way too. When we say Surin and many other parts of Thailand are Thailand territories, and Khmer Sorin are Thai people they would turn to us with bullets. They want us to believe that Thailand had stolen tha part from Cambodia and its people. Today, Cambodians want the international laws to apply to preah vihear as their territory. We are not saying that it's not theirs. It's great that they are fighting for their rights. However, we have not heard a word about legality in Kampuchea krom and Sorin, which Cambodians have claimed to be theirs. And Thailand and Vietnam had stolen from them. If they take this case to the international court, ofcourse Cambodians will loose their legitimacy because those territories belong to Thailand and Vietnam respectfully. On Aug 7, 9:23 am, "S.
