Dear All,

It is confusing for people who are not familiar with history to label Preah
Vihear as a Hindu temple. Preah Vihear is a Khmer temple built in honor or a
Hindu god. Preah Vihear was built with Khmer labor and not with Indian
labor. It is located in Khmer land and not in India. To characterize that
Preah Vihear is Hindu temple is like saying the Pantheon of Rome and the
Pantheon of Paris are Greek monuments. The Pantheon of Paris was built by
French in dedication to the Christian church St Genevieve, but now uses to
bury the French heroes. The Pantheon of Rome was built by Romans in
dedication to Romulus, the founder of Rome. Stop mislabeling our Khmer
temples. They are not Hindu temples but Khmer temples in dedication to Hindu
gods or to Buddhism.
