Yes I think we need to document it much better how Camel handles this 
file/folder stuff when its
- consuming files
- producing files

It's a bit confusing when Camel uses the unique message id for filename instead 
of the path from the URI.

OK, then the Camel guide[1] which says: "Where fileName represents the
underlying file name" at the top is not correct and confusing, it is
really referring to the root directory where the subsequent files will
be placed.  I'll update the guide when I get back from work if no one
else does.
