Yeah - its maybe not immediately obvious but ServiceMix and JBI actually is a registry of endpoints; it lets you use logical URIs in your routes and then bind them to any physical endpoints you wish. See here... http://activemq.apache.org/camel/jbi.html so you'd use the JBI logical names for things (like WSDL QNames for interface / endpoint names which are protocol agnostic) in your routes.
