Mike,

I think the problem is that you designed a camera for a very specific
need and that may not match other's needs. With a lens board to film
range of 65-100mm that would be pretty limiting in my opinion. That is
if I am reading that right. If I am that wouldn't focus a 90mm lens on
most subjects. It would do OK with a 65mm lens but I wouldn't buy a
camera for use with just one lens.

I don't mean to be critical. Just pointing out that your needs that were
solved by building this camera may not be shared by a mass of
photographers shopping on auction sites.

Well of course it was on *that* site.

But the purpose in posting this message here (and on the Large Format
List as well) was to get ideas pro and con from a design viewpoint
alone.

I put the camera together for my own use, then changed my mind and
decided to sell it. So it suits for me. I'll be happy whether it sells
or not. But I do plan to build other things hopefully for sale, as well
as for my own use, so getting opinions could be helpful. I don't suspect
that my needs/wants in a camera design are necessarily shared by all
others.

So if you find something about the thing that doesn't suit you I'd like
to know! Plus maybe I can learn something unforeseen from this.

Anyway, here's the item #: 3816801018

I might re-list it, but first I think I'll try getting the photos a
little bit lighter to reveal more details. They looked great on my
screen, but seemed to go a little darker once they were uploaded.

Anyway, any thoughts on this thing would be most welcome. Be blunt!

Thanks again,

--mh
