That's a hoot!  I used the brass tube from the hobby store.  Epoxied it
on!  Well, if nothing else I can tell you your plan will work.  f16 is
pretty sharp, f4.5 nice for partraits.  You'll be pleasantly surprised,
I think.  It's no Medalist Ektar, though.
