I have built one that would cover that format... If I had to do it
over again I would have just bought one on E-Bay or in the Classifieds... A
used Bessler I believe will cover 8 1/2 x 11...I have seen them in the $200
range used ....
I had used a special Snieder Lens that I had found in a surplus store
with a 70 degree angle so I built the machine around that lens using a old
Sola enlarger for the gears and tracking and mounted it all on the enlargers
post... It took about 6 months to build and about $300 in parts.... I found
out after I sold the thing that the Lens sold new for $12,000.Been kicking
myself ever since....
You may fine a small process camera on E-bay that would have all the
necessary parts including lights and a wide angle lens ...Also check Graphic
Arts or printers supply...
