I just tool apart one of those cameras (or part of). That's foprm a alrge process camera - a camera sued for repordcutions of originals (maps, photo, prints, etc). the sace is used for precise setting of focus in relation to distance form object. The cameras themselves, without exaggeration, weight a few hundred pounds and are as long as a car, and are usually built into place. All replaced now by scanners. The lenses used are usually of extremely high quaiity, even the "off brands". joe http://www.oneilphoto.on.ca http://www.multiboard.com/~joneil "Una salus victus nullam sperare salutem" _______________________________________________ Cameramakers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://rmp.opusis.com/mailman/listinfo/cameramakers
