AFAIK, no, this is not possible. You cannot extend the capabilities of iSync yet (no APIs). The only way to do this would be to use Safaris bookmarks in Camino, thereby getting the syncing for free.
Which is exactly what I have proposed a couple of months ago.
Hmmmmm.... could be risky if they fiddle with the format. Don't want to be dependent on someone else's data format that could change in mid-flight.
No one suggests to have Camino depend on Safari bookmark files. It's easy enough to read the header of the Safari BM file. If it fits the version, Camino loads that file (and saves it to both Safari's file as well as its own XML file). If the version changes, Camino will just work with its own file.
The only problem I can foresee is the "WebBookmarkUUID" string that gets saves with each Safari bookmark.
