I'm seeing similar problems. In a nutshell when Camino shuts down it appears to toss my bookmarks.xml file but instead leaves behind a "_bookmarks_temp.xml" with the default bookmarks. This misbehavior appears to have started with the early september builds.

In order to get around this I keep a backup of my bookmarks file and use a small shell script to to copy the backup file to bookmarks.xml before launching Camino.

Cheers,
Scott

I have a problem with Camino corrupting the bookmarks.xml file. I use URL Manager Pro 3.0.6 to save my bookmarks to Camino. Camino will then start and run fine. If I quit Camino, it will shut down without any errors. However, upon starting it up again it complains that it cannot parse the bookmarks.xml file and starts without any booksmarks.

Any idea what's happening during shutdown to corrupt the file? I'm running Camino 2003100911.
