If/when click-hold context menus are reintroduced, will there be a user preference (having it require editing of user.js is fine) to turn it off?

Is it just me or are the first two bugs from:
ifdef out click-hold context menus, there are too many problems with edge cases (bugs 234751, 232964, 232314)
fixed or unrepeatable in 2004021608?
I saw the bad behavior with the find button for 232314 and I can understand that one. I agree w/ the reports that it should behave like moz (at least old communicator). The only idea I have is implementing the mouse up click gesture as an interim replacement. I'm guessing enabling it even as an experimental feature in preferences isn't going to happen. Is it really that major, as to justify removal at this point though?. I thought it was a really good improvement. Amazing the basic things firefox hasn't worked out that were fixed back in the chimera days. How many hours development do you think went into this project so far.
