There is a bug report in for this: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205136
With luck, a fix will make it into 0.8 which will also prevent the text color from changing.

I'm running the latest nightly [2004051108 (v0.7+)] on Mac OS 10.2.8, and
I've been noticing that button rendering in Camino doesn't seem to fully
support all CSS attributes. This is true for both <input> tags of
type="button", and for the <button> tag.
You can see this if you load this test page I created:
http://semisimple.com/CaminoTest.html
a screenshot is here:

As you can see, the text on the styled <button> element is hard to read,
because Camino *does* render the colored text and the padding amount, but it
does NOT render the background color.
Everything renders just fine in Mozilla and in Firefox, but not in Camino or
Safari.
Has anyone else noticed this, and will it be fixed in future versions of
Camino? I'm brand new to this email list, so if there's a better place for
me to post this observation, please let me know.
Thanks!
