You might want to try NSPR logging 
(http://www.mozilla.org/projects/nspr/reference/html/prlog.html).  In a 
terminal window, try:

  export NSPR_LOG_MODULES=nsHttp:5
  export NSPR_LOG_FILE=nshttp.log
Then, in the same terminal:
  cd <install_path>/Camino.app/Contents/MacOS
  ./Camino
Now just visit some sites that are giving you problems.  Once you get 
that issue, quit Camino, and you should have a log file.  Hopefully that 
will show the problem.  Post the log file to a bug as an attachment; 
don't know if there is already a bug open on this...
