This set of benchmarks was recently posted on Slashdot, in which a comparison of virtually every available browser on the market was conducted. 14 different browsers (or versions of browsers) for OS X were tested, and Camino was one of them:

It seems Safari 2.0 has improved dramatically over Safari 1.2 (at or near the top in most categories). Camino retains the fastest startup speed, though.
