Hi all:
The list is slow lately..is everyone just busy busy??
We're not so busy as I'm freaking exhausted all the
time. I"ve gotten to a point where I'm adjusting to my
body's expansion and I can't sleep!! And when I do
sleep, I'm just up 2-3 times to pee. sigh. I'm about
to order a back support thing because I"m only 25
weeks and having trouble making it through a grocery
shopping trip.
Ok..that's MY update..here's about Elijah. He's
started singing songs, which is the cutest thing ever.
I think he's a little late on this, but he has always
adored music, he's just started putting the songs
together this past week. The first one was Twinkle
Twinkle Little Star..which sounds like this: Twinkle
Stahhhh...wonder Aahhhh..above hiiiigh, skyyy, twinkle
staaaah, wonder aaaahhh..Of course, I recorded it :)
He also since 'Itsy Bitsy Spider' like this, "itsy
bitsy spidahhhh...again..." and that's it!! LOL!
He is non stop talking now and is a bit of a myna bird
at all times. I've really had to curb my jersey car
swearing! He speaks in full sentences and continuously
stuns and delights us by saying sweet things like "I
love you Mommy/Daddy" and "Kiss you!" (he plants a
kiss on). Yesterday he sneezed and said, "Bless you
Dude"..then I sneezed today and he said it again LOL!
He still wants to read constantly and he's got most of
his favorite books memorized so we're not allowed to
skip parts or say it wrong. Tom is still the more
patient, reading Goodnight Moon and Pajama Time 15
times in a row without complaining :) I just read
things one at a time...then try to hide them :)
He loves musical instruments and at this point I think
I'm just going to get him a bunch for his birthday
instead of the trains and table I'd planned on. He has
some train track and a train from brio and he barely
touches it..I've got him on video tape playing his
recorder and harmonica though :) He loves his
xylophone and if we had a drum he'd be at it
constantly, so I think I'm going to get him some
bongos. He's also fascinated with shoes right now and
brings them to me to put them on his feet, or plays
dress up with my shoes or daddy's shoes..He'll say
"mommy shooooooe" or daddy shoooooe...(he stretches
syllables a lot). I call him sweet heart a lot or
sweetie..and so I hear him saying tank you sweetie all
the time now LOL
Ok...enough babbling..suffice to say I am loving him
at this age..it's so fun!
