Subject: [extendnurse] hurricane
Hi everyone, For those who don't know me I have been on this list over
a year now but have not been very active lately due to many things going on in
my life. I have kept up with reading the emails most of the time but
just have not found the time to reply though there are many I would have liked
to reply to. For those who do not know I live in Puerto Rico. We
are in hurricane season & this past month there have been numerous
hurricane watches & warnings. Many thankfully did not hit us though
I feel for those who have been affected elsewhere. This past week one
finally did hit that was the hurrican Jeanne which is now a tropical
storm. When it hit us it was going at 70 mph with much higher wing
gusts. It left the island with some damage & all of us where left
without water or electricity. I am fortunate and got my electricity
& water back today many are not as lucky & still dealing with the
aftermath. Between everyday life & this hectic hurricane season I am
even more behind than usual. I did however want to let everyone know I
am alive & still here. I hope to be more active at some point.
