Hi everyone,
I have been a silent subscriber for a while but now
need some help and advice.
My name is Jill, I live in Toronto and am a SAHM to
Paul and Steven my 18 month old twins.
The boys have always slept like angels since 10
weeks (I know I am blessed) although, the last week they cannot seem to
settle. I am up with them about 5 times a night just reassuring and
offering cuddles, however I do not end up sloeeping well. They seem to
need to be touching or hugging me while they sleep in order to stay
asleep. As soon as I move my arm from around them they both wake up and
cry for more. BTW- the boys want nothing to do with my dh and will not and
cannot be comforted by him, so it is only me. I am getting kinks in my neck and
shoulders from having two 18 month old boys all over me through the night!
Any thoughts anyone? I also started working part-time twice a week for 4-5
hours per shift. I was initaially worried that they would forget all about
me and be upset with me for leaving them, however, since I started about a month
ago and have found the boys to be extra clingy?!
