Hi ladies,

I have a cousin who currently has two friends serving in Iraq. When we last talked she was very upset and was looking for ways to do something for them. It got me to thinking about something I used to do, that was Operation Dear Abby. Well with the war and threat of terrorism the mail campaign has been suspended, however Dear Abby and the military have gotten together and made a secure path through the internet for our troops to receive support and encouragement from back home. I'm sure some of you already do this, but I just wanted to pass this along to everyone and let you know about it. We can send our messages to the troops via www.OperationDearAbby.net I'm sure that they would appreciate any words of support and encouragement they can get. I cannot imagine being so far from home, but they are doing a wonderful thing. They are giving it their all, defending our country, giving us the freedom we have always known. I just thought it would be great if everyone could send at least one message telling them how awesome they are or send a dozen. I'm sure all the support they get is appreciated.

Sometimes I think alot of people take our freedom for granted. These men and women are fighting so that even if we forget what freedom means it will always be there for us.

God bless our troops and keep them safe. Be with the friends and families of those that have perished. Be with America also as we forge ahead during these troubled times. Amen.

God Bless you all,

Vicky and Chayton
