hi---this morning at 3am Kaysa woke up to nurse, which she does about every
1.5 to 3 hours. I reached over to pick her up to nurse her, and she had
this great big smile on her face. It was so sweet! I sure don't mind
getting up a few times a night for THAT! (Sorry, Roger.....)
I have been a little depressed lately. My grandparents left today to
go back to Venice, FL, for the winter. Gram turns 84 today. Gramp is
nearly 88. I am always worried that because they are so elderly, I may
never see them alive again. And Emma is so close to them, too. I feel sad
that I can't really communicate that her "Gummy" and Great-papa won't be back to
Maine until May. (Although she has recently begun to make even bigger
strides in her battle against Autism. Her receptive & expressive
language skills are progressing like crazy!)
And, I also learned some sad news from a friend today. All I can do
is be supportive. (I have a habit of wanting to "fix" everything.)
On a more happy note, my cousin and her husband are expecting baby #
2!!!! Very excited for them, and the whole family.
