I saw Denise (the midwife that will be delivering this baby since she is ON for the next week and a half since Anne will be on vacation). She is funny and we like her alot but I don't think she will "baby" me as much as Anne did when I had Sierra. ROFL I could be wrong though. I just love how much time spend and patience they have with their patients though!
I am dialated 3 cm now (yeah!!) and she stripped my membranes (ouch!!). She was up there for a while, pulling, stretching, twisting her fingers, inside my cervix. I didn't remember it hurting like when I was pregnant with Sierra. Darrell even came over to hold my hand and rub my head! lol I have been cramping/uncomfortable ever since but only have had two good contractions.
She was happy with the Bio-Physical Profile/Ultrasound done on Monday (11th). She said if I don't go into labor beforehand, then she wants to see me again on Monday (18th) and we can try some more things. She said to go home and have sex and even use a breastpump to get things going! lol She told me she doesn't recommend the black cohash....that its unpredictable and she doesn't like things she has read recently (funny because I actually read something the other day that made me stop taking it).
Oh yeah, she told me that the baby weighed only about 8lbs 4 oz at my u/s on Monday (just under 3800 grams). Anne said the same thing when I talked to her on the phone the other day (I forgot to mention it to you guys)....she said don't worry about the u/s as it can be way off. So not sure how Darrell and I got 8lbs 14oz....unless the u/s tech converted wrong in her head. We know that is what we both heard. Anyway, that makes me feel a little better. lol
So thats it for now. My good friend is being induced tomorrow morning, I can't believe how close these babies will be (we had almost a 3 week difference in due date!)...we'll probably be in the same hospital at the same time, both with our boys (Aden and Kaden) ROFL!!!
