1. News: PeopleSoft Exec: Oracle Takeover Scared Off Big 
Clients

In spite of the company's customer assurance program, 
PeopleSoft has lost big clients such as Target during the 
course of Oracle's attempted hostile takeover. A PeopleSoft 
exec revealed this and more during testimony in Delaware
Chancery Court.

2. News: PeopleSoft Extends Customer Protection

PeopleSoft has extended its money-back guarantee to 
customers until Dec. 31. The program promises customers 
between two to five times the amount spent on new customer 
licenses if Oracle stops supporting the products after a 
successful acquisition.

Oracle co-president Safra Catz said that the company's $7.7 
billion bid for PeopleSoft may shrink by one-third to
