Chidambaram pushes for 4-5 big public sector banks
India will have just four-five giant public sector banks, according to a consolidation
plan being thrashed out by finance minister P Chidambaram. This is in line with the

Empowered GoM to decide price brand for PSU selloff
The Cabinet has approved setting up of an empowered group of ministers to determine
the price band of public sector undertakings shares for disinvestment. Addressing
mediapersons here on Thursday, finance minister P Chidambaram, however, said that the
