Very interesting concept.  Let's see if I understand your idea for my 
application of thin gage sheet metal
slitting.

1. Load the pressre cylinder.
2. Apply hydraulic pressure to cylinder
3. Cylinder begins to pressurize the water (not sure what this would 
look like)
4. Duration of of stroke is equal to cutting time (would like around a 
minute)
5. Move part to be slit underneath the waterjet
6. Once stroke is complete and part slit, retract cylinder to load position.
8. Dwell time of cylinder retracting and part fixturing.
7. Repeat complete process.

Any comments?
