------------- Original message follows ------------- I've replaced my old metal tank with a new polyethylene one. I need to put in an air vent and have a threaded opening for it. My question is How can I finish it on the outside so that its exterior opening looks good. ------------------------------ Cindy,
On my '67 Overlander, the fresh water fill cap does not have a gasket, and the cap is cast in such a way as to allow air to enter while the tank is in use. You may not need a vent if you have a similar situation. Just a thought, Tom To unsubscribe from this group, go to http://www.groups.yahoo.com/group/AirstreamList/ and unsubscribe.
