press release issued late last week by Birkin North America.

Dateline Chicago, IL and San Francisco, CA 10/22/04
Woody Harris, President of Birkin North America, Inc announced today
that Birkin North America has elected to cease functioning as the sole
importer of Birkin cars, the South African built Lotus Seven replica.
In making the announcement, Mr. Harris stressed that both he and Mr.
Dennis Tobin (co-principle and treasurer of Birkin North America) remain
committed to the cars and their current customer base.
Mr. Harris and Mr. Tobin will continue the co-operative effort they have
enjoyed in the past by serving the wider Sevens community through their
parent companies: Motoring Specialists, Inc., Vacaville, CA and La Fox
Factory Auto, South Elgin, IL respectively.
Mr. Harris and Mr. Tobin look forward to assisting their successors in
Birkin importation when they are announced.
