Vermont Apples: Recipes
http://www.vermontapples.org/recipes.html

Nothing is more American than apple pie!  Here's a site that features Vermont Apples in just about every type of apple recipe that you can imagine.  You'll find sections on Baking, Sauce, Jelly, Main Dishes, Soups and Salads, and everyone's favorite, Dessert.  In addition to the recipes, there are Apple Facts in the Teachers and Education link, Vermont Apple News, Nutrition facts, Orchards Listing in Vermont (just in case you're going to be in the area) and Resources for everything about apples from A to Z.  What better way to celebrate autumn than with an apple, all the while keeping healthy; remember that old adage, 'an apple a day keeps the doctor away!'

Reader's Digest CyberSmiles

My buddy applied for a job as an insurance salesperson. Where the form requested "prior experience," he wrote "lifeguard." That was it. Nothing else. "We're looking for someone who can not only sell insurance, but who can sell himself," said the hiring manager. "How does working as a lifeguard pertain to salesmanship?" "I couldn't swim," my pal replied.  He got the job.
