All Horoscopes: http://web1.nypost.com/cgi-bin/horoscope.pl
ARIES
There may be a thousand and one things you want to do, especially in your
personal life, but as Saturn turns retrograde today, you would be wise not to
take on too much, even if partners and loved ones are unexpectedly supportive
for once. The only reason they want you to do certain things is because they
don't want to make the effort themselves.
1-900-990-7810*
TAURUS
You must focus only on positive things today, especially if you are the kind of
Taurus who is not really as thick-skinned as you like to make out. Some of what
you hear over the next 24 hours will be less than complimentary, so take
nothing too seriously and try not to say anything provocative, either. Don't
make matters worse.
1-900-990-7811*
GEMINI
Saturn, planet of limitation, turns retrograde in the money area of your chart
today, so you may hear something about your cash-flow situation that brings a
smile to your face. However, there is a real possibility that you are being
misled, so don't go on a spending spree on the strength of what you think
you've got coming. It may not arrive.
1-900-990-7812*
CANCER
Something you have been working on for quite some time will have to be put on
the back burner for a while, now that Saturn is turning retrograde in your
sign. You can come back to it later, but for the moment, there are more
important things to spend your time and energy on. Start by rescuing a
friendship you have neglected lately.
1-900-990-7813*
LEO
Your confidence will get a boost today, mainly because you no longer can be
bothered to worry about things that are beyond your control. It is important
that you keep this feeling going as long as you possibly can because there are
a number of unexpected changes coming up, and to deal with them properly, you
must keep your spirits high.
1-900-990-7814*
VIRGO
You may have to spend a bit less time on group activities this week, simply
because you have some rather pressing personal issues to deal with. Make sure
friends and colleagues know why they won't be seeing as much of you in the near
future, so they won't hold it against you later when you want to start up your
old alliances again.
1-900-990-7815*
LIBRA
The more colleagues, employers and authority figures try to make you change
your mind about something today, the more you must dig in your heels and refuse
to be moved. You know what is right and what is wrong and, more important, what
is good for you and what is not - and it is on that basis alone that you must
make your decision.
1-900-990-7816*
SCORPIO
There is no point getting worked up about the state of the world because there
is not much you can do about it. Or is there? You may not be able to change
things on a social or political level, but you can change things on a personal
level. Start by treating everyone you meet with respect - just one good deed
can, in time, change everything.
1-900-990-7817*
SAGITTARIUS
Something you have been worrying about for quite some time won't have such a
hold over you beginning today. The cause of the worry has not disappeared, but
as Saturn turns retrograde today, it will fade into the background for a while.
Sooner or later, you will have to confront it and deal with it, but for now you
can focus on more enjoyable things.
1-900-990-7818*
CAPRICORN
If someone you have deep feelings for is unresponsive today, don't think it
means he no longer cares for you or that you are drifting apart. On the
contrary, he has never been more committed to your relationship, but, according
to the planets, he needs to spend some time by himself to think things through.
Give him the space he needs.
1-900-990-7819*
AQUARIUS
A wonderful aspect between Venus, planet of affection, and Neptune in your
birth sign will make you want to be friends with everyone today. However,
because Saturn turns retrograde in the work and well-being area of your chart,
you must not agree to do too many things or make too many sacrifices, or it
will wear you down physically and emotionally.
1-900-990-7808*
PISCES
Others will be generous with you today if you are generous with them. Neptune,
your ruling planet, is under excellent influences at the moment, so let friends
and colleagues know that you are willing to work alongside them, not just for
your benefit but for the benefit of all. Teamwork is essential now, not just in
your work but creatively, too.

THIS LOSS JUSTUN-BEAR-ABLE: http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/20284.htm
By PAUL SCHWARTZ
Tom Coughlin looked shocked and sounded almost wistful, seemingly
trying to comprehend what he didn't see coming. This one didn't anger the
Giants coach as much as it disappointed him.
The multitude of penalties, the plays he called "stupid" and the regression
from his veteran quarterback. And the turnovers, the five turnovers.
"We've done such a good job there . . . " Coughlin said, his voice trailing
off.

FORGET KOMEBACK KURT GIVE ELI THE BALL:
http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/20283.htm
IT is time to get Eli Manning up in the
bullpen. Get him ready, Tom Coughlin. The bloom came off Kurt Warner's rose
yesterday. Warner (two fumbles, two interceptions, seven sacks) gave the 5-3
Giants, disgraceful 28-21 losers to the Bears, absolutely no chance to win.

A PASS THAT FAILED: http://www.nypost.com/sports/jets/20271.htm
ORCHARD PARK You wanted to believe something was
wrong when the ball left Chad Pennington's hands, when it floated helplessly
into double coverage, away from Wayne Chrebet, into Lawyer Milloy's arms.

CASE OF FAINT INDIFFERENCE: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20268.htm
FOR all the reaction shots of parents watching their
kids play ball, we'd have traded them all for just one. Saturday, we'd have
given it all to see how Dan Cody's parents reacted provided they knew what
was going on.

PAULA'S WIN NO STRETCH: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20272.htm
PAULA Radcliffe calls Susan Chepkemei a close
friend. For six miles, they were inseparable. These women didn't need water at
the last station, more like a crowbar, or orders to keep running past 26.2
miles to Aqueduct where a picture could confirm a winner.

MEN OF STEEL: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20266.htm
 By LENN ROBBINS
PITTSBURGH When Bill Parcells described Ben Roethlisberger as the
most impressive rookie quarterback he's seen since Dan Marino in 1983, it
wasn't just hyperbole. A few weeks after Parcells' astounding statement, Marino
himself endorsed the Steelers rookie.

RUNNER-UP MEB: I'M THE GREATEST: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20276.htm
 By BRIAN LEWIS
Meb Keflezighi's hubris is surpassed only by his prowess. After his
silver medal in Athens, he pronounced American distance running back. After his
narrow miss and runner-up finish at yesterday's New York City Marathon, he
declared himself the greatest U.S. distance runner. Ever.

KASTOR HAS NOTHING LEFT: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20278.htm
 By JOSEPH BARRACATO
Since her impressive bronze medal performance in the women's marathon
this past summer in the Athens Olympics, Deena Kastor began to question if her
body would be up to the 26.2-mile task waiting for her at yesterday's New York
City Marathon.

THE RADCLIFFE REDEMPTION: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20270.htm

USC KEEPS STREAKS ALIVE: http://www.nypost.com/sports/20267.htm
 By NICK PARISH
Temperatures in the 40s and pea soup fog made Oregon State's Reser Stadium

the most of the inhospitable conditions, coming from behind to win 28-20.

STRAHAN MAY BE LOST FOR SEASON: http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/20288.htm
  By PAUL SCHWARTZ
To make a bad loss even worse, there is fear among the Giants that
Michael Strahan, their Pro Bowl defensive end, could be lost, possibly for the
season, with a torn pectoral muscle.

BEARS STEP IT UP: http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/20286.htm
  By DAVE CURTIS
Amid some stunned Giants, a more stunned Giants Stadium sellout
crowd and, maybe most stunned of all, their fellow Chicago Bears, Jerry Azumah
and R.W. McQuarters decided to dance.

A LESSON YET TO BE LEARNED: http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/20285.htm
  By DAVE CURTIS
The Giants thought they learned all this two weeks ago. They
insisted as much in their locker room all week, proclaiming over and over that
no inferior team would roll into East Rutherford and rough them up.

JINTS JUST BLUNDER-FUL: http://www.nypost.com/sports/giants/20287.htm
  By PAUL SCHWARTZ
Just as Tiki Barber made the last cut to free him from the
last Bears defender and headed in for a 14-yard touchdown run, he noticed a

ORCHARD PARK Curtis Martin is always the most honest Jet,

So it was little surprise when Martin put the most accurate spin on the Jets'

do it. We have to get something out of that position."

DEBT OF WINTER
By PAUL THARP
With the economy basking in a healthy stock rally and a sharp boost in hiring,
investors are looking to clear a third hurdle: jitters over consumer spending.
Data due this week could help answer the big question of whether shoppers
will feel comfortable enough to spend more this holiday season and whether an
expected two-pronged hike in interest rates, starting this week, could dampen
their enthusiasm.

TRAVEL MAGS TURN UP HEAT: http://www.nypost.com/business/33615.htm
