Tom, I have the Hobie ice chest rack on both my H16 and H18. It seems like it just sits way lower on the H18 than the H16 and keeps getting washed over. I had changed to a playmate cooler with the attached swing lid to avoid losing the lid, but the washover soon filled the cooler and melted the ice. I am thinking that there must be a better system. The ice chest and rack also interfered with the jib furler line, but that could probably be resolved easily. rick
