All true, and this off topic I'm sure, but, did you (anybody) know that an '84 Tasca/beggo does not have even one compartment that will accept a std little weber propane barbecue w/ the lid on it ? I hauled it for 12 yrs w/ the lid off, then this past year when I thought I would keep the Tasca forever, I cut an inch out of the lid and welded the top back on. Worked good, but it had a bad case of UGLY. So I guess it's time for a new one now, and being it's as old as the Tasca was.

If it had not been for wife's serious illness, I probably would have kept that ole Tasca forever :)  But she is thrilled w/ the 98 Flair.  And I agree, it is very nice. But the problem is, if it ever quits running, I can only open the hood, stand there, and look stupid, then call the hook !   :(   :)

Keep in mind though all that "extra storage space" may not be as
usable as people think, at least not for lots of heavy items:
The "overall vehicle weight law" is still in effect! ;-)

So, no matter how many places a manufacturer puts outdoor storage
  places/cubby-holes, they doesn't increase the vehicle's (chassis)
weight-rating...they may even encourage people to overload their
units whereas in the older models -- with no extra space to put
things -- it actually helped keeping weights down.

I'm just saying be careful and travel with a minimum of stuff.

Tasca, still a very good coach, and I miss some of it already. Our
newer one is only 2 ft bigger, but big enough to get a walk around
bed in the back. But the main reason we made the change, was for
getting the big outside storage compartments that come in the later
tall, wide class A's. But I will miss the ole Tasca, I knew it from
one end to the other like a book. There wasn't nothin on it that I
  couldn't fix.
