Ambush aggravates 16-hour battle
FALLUJAH, Iraq - After nearly 16 hours of fighting, the U.S. Marines thought
they had finally won their battle yesterday for the mosque that insurgents had
been using as a command center. Then a car drove up behind a group of the
Marines. Seven men bristling with Kalashnikovs, rocket-propelled grenades and
ammunition belts spilled onto the street, ready to fight at point-blank range.

Pinal to prosecute Schwartz, Bigger
Pima County prosecutors, concerned some of their own may be called as
witnesses, are citing potential conflict of interest in bowing out of the
murder case against a Tucson doctor accused of having his one-time medical
partner killed. Instead, the Pinal County Attorney's Office in Florence will
now handle the first-degree homicide charges against Dr. Bradley Schwartz and
suspected hit man Ronald Bruce Bigger, and will decide whether to seek the
death penalty against them.

Suspension to continue, UA's Fox says
Suspended UA basketball player Isaiah Fox was cited for driving without
registration or proof of insurance in September, and his driver's license was
suspended Monday, according to Arizona Supreme Court Web site records. Fox
disputed some details of the public record and said any driving-related
incidents did not cause his current indefinite suspension from the UA

Everything but the cars: Find that groovy little motorbike, and plenty more
It's not often that Tucson sets the pace for the nation, but the bold splash of
red just off Interstate 10 at the Palo Verde Road exit does just that.

into a dazzling showcase, test track, repair shop and gift store officially
known as the first "Tier 5 Powerhouse Dealership Facility" to open in the
United States.

This engine couldn't: 'Polar Express' doesn't adapt to feature length
To call "The Polar Express" a train wreck would be too easy. The film is a $165
million derailing - boring, bloated and ill-conceived, all delivered in a new
computer animation style that disturbs more than it dazzles.
