Being an owner of a group or a monitor of a group you can monitor
messages & memberships. In regards to new members you can check
profiles if it is a newly made profile you do not have to let them
into the group (because the "robot" spammers would need to create
new screen names immediatley after spamming groups otherwise they
would get reported). If they are new members that want to post their
(the new members) would have to have to be pre-approved by the
owner/monitor.
If you need anymore help or suggestions please feel free to ask me,
I had a couple groups before that I have since passed on to other
people now, but the only thing you should not do is make the group
private because you can not reverse that action.
