Locking Out WLAN Intruders

AirDefense offers software to make surfing more secure,
while Hertz and Wayport make it easier to find hot spots
when traveling. AirDefense has also announced a new
partnership with Cisco that will incorporate CiscoWorks WLSE
(Wireless LAN Solutions Engine) into AirDefense's Wireless
Forensic Server Appliance and allow Cisco access points to
act as rogue sensors. This will raise the bar on enterprise
WLAN security, but could it also be the tool that gives
enterprise-quality security to off-premises hot-spot users?
