The 40 seats on the 12:15 p.m. Atlantic Southeast Airlines' jet flight to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International were sold out, so Delta Connection decided to bring in a 50-seater to meet demand. FAERBER CASE CLOSED AFTER 20 POSSIBLE VICTIMS IDENTIFIED State agents investigating former Collier County School Board member Nelson Faerber Jr. identified 20 possible victims of sexual abuse, including a 7-year-old child, dating back about 30 years, according to case files and the spokesman for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Some of the people identified as victims came forward to investigators after Faerber, 52, fatally shot himself in the head July 13. COUNTY MAY USE TRUST TO BUY ZOO LAND A green light today could mean more green acres tomorrow. Collier County commissioners will be asked today to allow The Trust for Public Land, a national nonprofit land conservation group, to broker the purchase of land underneath the Caribbean Gardens and nearby property totaling 150 acres. It's a next step in the county's efforts to save Naples' only zoo and preserve nearby land that has managed to escape the march of development in Southwest Florida. FEDS EXCLUDE EASTERN GULF FROM OIL, GAS INVENTORY WASHINGTON � The Interior Department on Monday released its projections for oil and gas production in the Gulf of Mexico over the next decade but continued to exclude the eastern area off Florida's coast. Despite recent congressional attempts to inventory the resources in the eastern area where drilling has been prohibited by congressional and presidential moratoria for decades, the Interior Department reiterated the president's stance on the issue. The veteran director of the Naples High School marching band is formally reprimanded by the principal for ignoring orders to stay off the field while new sod takes root.
